SECTION 1 <br /> INTRODUCTION - <br /> This task specific Site Safety and Health.Plan (SSHP) was prepared by ICF Kaiser (ICF) for <br /> work to be conducted at 425 North Union Street, located,:in Stockton, California. This SSHP . <br /> was prepared in accordance with guidelines 'set forth in Title 29 of the Code of Federal <br /> Regulations, Part 1910.120 (29 CFR 1910.120) and Title S of the Code of California <br /> Regulations, Section 5192 (8 CCR 5192). The provisions of this SSHP apply only to ICF <br /> personnel field activities associated with"the Site Assessment Oversight activities. The health <br /> and safety guidelines and requirements presented herein are based on a review of available <br /> information and an evaluation of potential hazards. Thisplan describes the health and safety <br /> procedures and equipment required for activities at this site to minimize the potential for <br /> exposures to field personnel. Should circumstances during the course of field work be <br /> extraordinarily different than anticipated, field work shall be temporarily stopped, so that <br /> potential hazards can be evaluated and appropriate healthjand safety precautions <br />: implemented. <br /> The provisions of this SSHP will be implemented by ICF personnel. All subcontractors are <br /> responsible for their own health and safety program, however, subcontractors will also <br /> comply with the requirements of this SSHP. <br /> UNICE.SSHP <br /> 6.9.94/41820-0OI-W 1-1 <br />
