Union lee Company August 6, 1993
Soil Remediation Work Plan at 1320 Weber Street Page 3
The soil samples will be collected and containerized in 8 ounce glass jars with
Teflon lined lids. Caution will be taken to insure there is no head space in each
sample container. The samples will be labeled and logged on a chain of custody
for sample tracking. The samples will then be stored in an ice chest with blue ice
for transportation to GeoMonitor Laboratories, a State certified laboratory for
analysis.
2.3 Aeration site buffer zones
The treatment site is bordered to the west and south with a narrow twenty (20)
foot strip of land within the parcel. The prevailing winds are from the northwest
and will carry any disturbed soil dusts to the southeast" Further to the south is a
delta slough approximately 150 foot wide and an industrial site south of that. The
property owned by Union Ice extends for at least 500 feet to the east of the
treatment site.
Prepared By:
A
` l
A.
