Hazardous Waste Management Program

<br />As part of the Big Lots Hazardous Waste Management Program,
<br />your store will receive all the required documents and components
<br />to begin your Hazardous Waste Management Program. This
<br />binder will contain information regarding the Safety Program, the
<br />Hazardous Waste Management Program overview, and supporting
<br />information. A separate binder designated to store required records
<br />will also be supplied. In addition to the Waste Management binders,
<br />your store will receive associate training guides which support this
<br />program and allow associates to familiarize themselves with the
<br />requirements.
<br />After reviewing the contents of this binder, you will be able to:
<br />- Recognize waste in your work area
<br />- Identify which waste is hazardous
<br />- Understand how to properly dispose of hazardous waste
<br />- Utilize the proper process for completing and maintaining all required documentation
<br />This program is nonnegotiable and must be followed exactly as outlined within this binder. Failure
<br />to follow these guidelines and procedures may result in disciplinary action up to, and including,
<br />termination.
