Hazardous Waste Management Program <br />Revised 3/21/16 <br />OVERVIEW <br />BAGGING HAZARDOUS WASTE <br />Once an item is determined to be hazardous waste, it needs to be properly contained and managed <br />until the next Waste Management pick-up. In the next few sections, we will discuss the steps to take <br />when handling hazardous waste. <br />All items that are considered hazardous waste must be bagged using zip-loc style sealing storage <br />bags. <br />Only one item must be placed in a bag.
