Hazardous Waste Management Program <br />Revised 3/21/16 <br />1 2 <br />3 4 <br />5 6 <br />•Secure the area to prevent customer or associate <br /> access. <br />•Identify the spilled material. <br />• Ensure all spilled, clean-up and contaminated <br /> materials are collected and bagged in a gallon size, <br /> zip-loc style sealing storage bag. <br />• Seal the bag completely. <br />• Place the sealed bag into a second gallon size, <br /> zip-loc style sealing storage bag. <br />• Place both the double-bagged hazardous waste <br /> item and bagged absorbent pads in <br /> its appropriate hazardous waste tote. <br />• Close tote. <br />• Log SKU and Product information onto your <br /> Non-Saleable Hazardous Material Checklist. <br />•If a spilled liquid starts spreading/trailing, use the <br /> absorbent pads to contain the spill and stop it from <br /> spreading. <br />• Absorb the spilled material with Spill Magic. <br />6 <br />LARGE SPILL CLEANUP QRG 27 <br />Liquid Plu <br />m <br />r <br />674851398 <br />ES <br />• Using a permanent marker, write the name of the <br /> spilled product and your initials on the bag. <br />• Using a separate sealing bag, insert the absorbent <br /> pads. <br />• Add disposable gloves used for handling the <br /> leaking item. <br />•Seal the second bag completely and label with what <br /> was absorbed.
