The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for FOUR R FARMS as of May 29, 2020. <br />Open violations from August 16, 2019 inspection <br />Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br />This facility does not have a valid ID number to manage hazardous waste. Facility is using CAL EPA ID number <br />from previous owner. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br />transportation, hazardous waste without an ID number. If you or your business generates more than 100 kg of <br />RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous waste, then you need to obtain an EPA ID <br />number. All others must obtain a State ID number. Go to the DTSC web site <br />https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ for the form to apply for an ID number. Immediately <br />obtain an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #605 - Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />Several 5 gallon buckets and containers and one 55 gallon drum of used oil were observed without labeling. All <br />hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br />Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br />hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #608 - Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />Drained used oil filters were observed in a 55 gallon drum and two 30 gallon drums. The drums were not closed or <br />covered. The drums were not labeled. <br />Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used <br />oil filters," an marked with an accumulation start date.
