The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for FOUR R FARMS as of May 29, 2020. Open violations from August 16, 2019 inspection Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. This facility does not have a valid ID number to manage hazardous waste. Facility is using CAL EPA ID number from previous owner. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an ID number. If you or your business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous waste, then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. All others must obtain a State ID number. Go to the DTSC web site https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ for the form to apply for an ID number. Immediately obtain an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation #605 - Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. Several 5 gallon buckets and containers and one 55 gallon drum of used oil were observed without labeling. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: - the words "Hazardous Waste" - name and address of generator - hazardous properties - physical state - composition (contents) - accumulation start date Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation #608 - Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. Drained used oil filters were observed in a 55 gallon drum and two 30 gallon drums. The drums were not closed or covered. The drums were not labeled. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," an marked with an accumulation start date.
