Pershing Ave <br /> Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> Dear Ms. Florido, <br /> In response to the inspection conducted on April 11, 2019 at Store#01263 in Stockton, <br /> California, and the additional information requested, please see the outline below, and the <br /> exhibits which follow, referencing existing procedures, documentation and/or actions taken: <br /> • Violation 106: We cannot get a more legible training signoff. The Store Manager is no <br /> longer at the store. The following ASMs were trained: <br /> Merch Manager: Velia Auk <br /> OPS Manager: Gerald Parks <br /> OPS Manager: Abigail Kirkandall <br /> • Violation 202: The management team was retrained that it is never allowable to throw <br /> empty or previously used hazardous waste bags in the trash. The empty bags had been <br /> placed in an STOU tote. The management team was fully retrained on the yellow dot <br /> trash program to ensure that all trash bags are properly inspected for hazardous waste. <br /> • Violation 301: Julia Giddens, EH&S Specialist, demonstrated to the ASMs what"clean" <br /> was while cleaning the chemical sales floor shelves with additional attention to those <br /> holding powdered cleaners like Comet and Ajax. (Note that some of the shelves <br /> contained old stains that could not be removed.) Damaged product was taken to the <br /> accumulation area for processing as hazardous waste (EXHIBIT A). Where possible, <br /> non-damaged product was wiped clean and placed back on the shelf. <br /> • Violation 403: Julia and the ASMs did a sweep of the sales floor to ensure that all <br /> damaged product was removed for appropriate disposition.
