CGRS <br /> SOLUTIONS DELIVEFED <br /> APPENDIX C <br /> Scope of Work Tank Removal <br /> 1624 Army Court Stockton , CA <br /> CGRS , Inc . ( CGRS ) is pleased to submit the following Scope of Work for the removal and <br /> closure of one ( 1 ) 10 , 000 gallon underground storage fuel tank ( UST) located at your facility . <br /> CGRS will work with A . E . COM to obtain the required soils testing per State Water Resources <br /> Control Board & San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department . <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES : <br /> Task #9 — Pre-tank removal activities : <br /> • CGRS will obtain permits to CUPA (City of Stockton Building/Fire Department may <br /> require an additional permits) <br /> • Mark location of utilities <br /> • Notification of dig alert before excavation <br /> • Prepare site for tank removal as required <br /> Schedule delivery of temporary fencing <br /> • Schedule tank cleaning and tank disposal <br /> • Schedule soil test sampling <br /> • Schedule bottom check (inspection ) <br /> Task #2 — Remove existing Underground Storage Tanks (UST) <br /> • CGRS will saw cut , demo concrete , and asphalt above the tank pit . The demo area <br /> shall not exceed 30 feet in length by 10 feet wide by up to 13 ' feet deep for tank <br /> removal <br /> • CGRS will excavate ( 1 ) UST' s and stockpile soil onsite according to San Joaquin <br /> Valley Area Air Quality District requirements <br /> • CGRS will saw cut and demo dispenser concrete pad and underground fuel piping <br /> • Pump ( 1 ) UST of remaining product and remove sludge <br /> Wash ( 1 ) UST with rinse liquid , and dispose of rinseate by permitted hauler to <br /> permitted recycler/dumpsite (total volume up to 700 gallons) <br /> • Soils testing by state certified laboratory as required by CUPA to be performed by <br /> others <br /> • Disposal of ( 1 ) UST tank by certified hauler to permitted recycler and provide <br /> certificate of destruction <br /> Task #3 — Backfill and place class 11 base over excavation <br /> • CGRS will call for inspection prior to backfill <br /> • CGRS will backfill excavation with existing stockpiled soil <br /> • CGRS will import class two base/gravel to finish backfilling to 6 " below grade <br /> • CGRS will provide 2500psi 6 " thick reinforced concrete with #4 rebar 18 " inches <br /> on center each way on exaction and replace curbing <br /> 7 <br />
