Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Dear Mr. Knoll:
Reference tis'rnade-to'.your'lettet dated-July 12,' 1996;-Site-Code 2283`concerriing"IJotice of
Reimbursement covering 748 South Union Street, Stockton, California. I.
In the past, there has been some confusion, at least on my part, concerning underground
storage tank removal at this location. Following a January 23, 1992 letter, I contacted your
office and Linda Turkatte furnished additional information covering the site in question.
This site included a diagram map that appeared somewhat different to what I remembered at
the site. Additionally, the information furnished included diagrams from the recently closed
Scotts Avenue underground storage tank site commonly referred to as 1033 East Scotts
Avenue. ' It has come to my attention, after your.most recent letter, that Santa-Fe acquired
additional property for proposed track connection at the same time the 1033 Scotts Avenue r
:property was acquired. I am still unable to locate any information on this-property other
than that furnished by Ms. Turkatte.
To aid in my understanding of this site, I will be contacting you in the near fixture to arrange
for an on-site meeting to cover necessary action if required.
Sincerely,
Mick.Hardin
Manager Environmental Remediation
• 073102
