GROUNDWATER MONITORING Prior to construction of any groundwater monitoring wells, the Discharger shall submit plans and specifications to the Board for review and approval. Once installed, all new wells shall be added to the Monitoring and Reporting Program and shall be sampled and analyzed according to the schedule below. Prior to sampling or purging, equilibrated groundwater elevations shall be measured to the nearest 0.01 foot. The wells shall be purged at least three well volumes until pH and electrical conductivity have stabilized. Sample collection shall follow standard analytical method protocols. Grab Quarterly Quarterly Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Grab Quarterly Quarterly Fixed Dissolved Solids mg/1 Grab Quarterly Quarterly WATER SUPPLY MONITORING A sampling station shall be established where a representative sample of the municipal water supply can be obtained. Water supply monitoring shall include at least the following: Sampling Constituents Units Frequency Standard Minerals mg/l Annually Electrical Conductivity µmhos/cm Quarterly @ 25°C Total Dissolved Solids mg/1 Annually REPORTING In reporting the monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in tabular form so that the date, the constituents, and the concentrations are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a manner to illustrate clearly whether the discharge complies with waste discharge requirements. The highest daily maximum for the month, monthly and weekly averages, and medians, should be determined and recorded.
