Wilma Avenue
Ripon, CA 95366
REQUEST FOR REPORT OF WASTE DISCHARGE TO UPDATE WASTE DISCHARGE
REQUIREMENTS 85-120, CITY OF RIPON'S WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND
DISPOSAL FACILITIES' , SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
The City of Ripon's current Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) Order No. 85-120 are in need of
updating. Ripon's WDRs are no longer consistent with the plans and policies of the Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board. Therefore,we will be updating Ripon's WDRs for their wastewater treatment
facilities during this state fiscal year(before 1 July 1994).
The first step in the WDR updating process is the submittal of a complete Report of Waste Discharge
(RWD)by the City of Ripon. The RWD submittal must include a filled in Application For Facility
Permit/Waste Discharge (attached State Form 200), submittal of the Additional Information Requirements
identified on the attached sheets. Based on our understanding of Ripon's wastewater treatment plant
(W WTP) the following minimum Specific Category information items must be included in the RWD: 3.b
Liquid Waste Discharge to Land and 3.k Pond Disposal; if Ripon is currently utilizing or will be proposing
to use Spray Disposal; and/or Reclaimed Water; then items 3.j and 3.1 must also have information included
with the RWD submittal. Sludge disposal and stormwater management practices must also be addressed in
the RWD. Additional information may be required before the RAID can be determined complete.
Please submit a RWD for Ripon's WWTP by 26 January 1994. Please call me at (916) 255-3030, if you
require any additional information.
W-4illaiw1--
MICHAEL H.
