VM field measurements and physical:
inspection indicate the soil has been remediated t the point where removal of the upper ;
9 inches of soil to expose the underlying soil is warranted. We would like to remove the
upper six inches of soil and place this soil immediately east of the current pad. This will
involve approximately 800 cubic yards of soil. Thi remediated soil will be identified with
field .survey lath and markings.
The underlying gasoline contaminated soil on thE remediation pad will be aerated until
it has no OVM readings and physical characteristics of hydrocarbon products. Once this
has been determined, the previously moved soil and the soil on the remediation pad will
be sampled in accordance with our approved wo- kplan. We believe this can take place
in the next thirty days. "".
If this procedure is acceptable to you, please let rne know and we will remove the initial
800 cubic yards. I can be .reached at (209) 369-9421. Thank you very much.
Very truly yours,
Stephen .
