The report documents findings from the investigation and
remediation associated with an unauthorize release from an underground storage
tank (UST) which contained agricultural fuel (gasoline). With the provision that the
information provided to this agency was accurate and representative of existing
conditions, it is our position that no further action is required to further investigate
or further remediate the area in and around the former UST.
Approximately 3,000 cubic yards of gasoline contaminated soil has been removed
from the area of the former UST and is currently undergoing on site
remediation/aeration. Upon completion of soil aeration and confirmation sampling,
PHS/EHD will issue a closure letter for this site.
If you have any further questions regarding this matter, contact Harlin Knoll at
(209) 468-3442.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS M rgar Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Su ervisor
HK:hihopes
cc: City of Lodi - Sharon Welsh
cc: WZI INC. - Stephen Muir
A Division of San Joaquin County H Wth Care Services
w
