VVZ <br /> !V INC <br /> 1 The hydrocarbon impacted soil will be disked on a weekly basis until no <br /> significant odors are present in the soil Once all soil appears to have been <br /> remediated, confirmation soil sampling of the remediated soil will be <br /> conducted <br /> 2 The soil samples will be collected at the rate of 1 sample per 150 cubic <br /> yards according to the sampling protocol outlined in Appendix III of this <br /> report Soil samples will be analyzed by USEPA Test Method 8015 <br /> (modified) for total petroleum hydrocarbon as gasoline and USEPA Test <br /> Method 8020 for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene It is <br /> estimated that a total of 20 soil samples will be collected for confirmation <br /> purposes <br /> 3 Remediation will be considered complete when the recommended <br /> remediated soil concentrations are achieved for total petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> as gasoline fuel of less than 1 mg/kg, benzene is not detected , and toluene, <br /> ethyl benzene, and xylene concentrations are below 50 mg/kg, concurrence <br /> will be obtained from both the Air District and PHSEHD <br /> 4 Less than 1 5 acres of land is anticipated to be involved as this treatment <br /> site <br /> 5 When soil sample laboratory analytical results indicate that regulatory <br /> agency compliance has been achieved, official site closure approval will be <br /> requested A specific plan for ultimate fate of the hydrocarbon impacted soil <br /> will be submitted to PHSEHD staff for review and approval prior to <br /> jimplementation At the present time, it is anticipated that the remediated soil <br /> will be spread on the adjoining Hi Hopes dirt roads for road base buildup <br /> 88220010 011 34 <br />
