Soil boring logs and well completion diagrams <br /> are included as Enclosures A and B,respectively. <br /> Tasks <br /> A summary of the tasks to be performed is as follows: <br /> • Obtain a permit from San Joaquin County to destroy 33 ground water monitoring and <br /> ozone sparging wells. <br /> • Coordinate access with the current operator of the facility. <br /> • Obtain access agreements with all impacted parties. <br /> • Use an underground utility locating company to locate ground water and ozone sparging <br /> wells that may be buried and assure that all borings are clear of utilities. <br /> a Notify Underground Service Alert at least 72 hours prior to scheduled drilling. <br /> • Notify San Joaquin County prior to well destruction activities to schedule inspection. <br /> • Remove the standpipes and flush mounts from the monitoring and ozone sparging wells. <br /> • Over-drill 21 ground water monitoring wells and 12 ozone sparging wells as previously <br /> described. <br /> • Complete Department of Water Resources Well Completion Reports for each well <br /> destroyed. <br /> WASTE DISPOSAL,INVESTIGATION-DERIVED WASTE <br /> Decontamination water and wastewater used in destruction methods will be stored onsite in <br /> 55-gallon drums, then transported and disposed of at a State of California certified wastewater <br /> disposal facility. <br /> Standpipes, well casings, annular material, and cuttings from over-drilling will be containerized <br /> onsite and sampled for waste profiling purposes. The waste will then be transported and disposed <br /> of at a State of California certified disposal facility. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Field work is anticipated to be completed within 6 weeks following RWQCB and San Joaquin <br /> County approval of this Work Plan.
