Cathcart-Dodge (Registered Geophysicist <br /> No. 1017). As described in the enclosed staff memorandum from Mr. James Dowdall (Registered <br /> Geologist No. 4830), the report information has caused us to revise our proposal for additional work <br /> described in Regional Board letter of 24 July 2003. We previously proposed 13 deep exploratory <br /> borings be drilled with the mud rotary method and geophysically logged at specific locations. The <br /> report's information enabled us to determine that eight borings originally proposed to characterize the <br /> area near or between the nine resistivity lines are not necessary. The enclosed memorandum describes <br /> our revised proposal. <br /> We look forward to discussing our revised proposal and Musco's thoughts and progress in completing its <br /> hydrogeologic investigation workplan at our upcoming meeting on 26 August 2003.
