The NOP describes
construction of a new high school facility to accommodate approximately 2,000 students northeast of
Stockton, San Joaquin County.
The NOP states that sewer, water, and storm drainage services will be obtained from the City of
Stockton, and extensions of existing lines, or construction of new lines, will be necessary. If all the
domestic wastewater is discharged to the City of Stockton treatment system, the Regional Water Quality
Control Board will not issue Waste Discharge Requirements for the site. If the wastewater disposal
alternative is changed to include on-site treatment and/or disposal of wastewater, then consistent with
California Water Code Section 13260, the Unified School District is required to submit a Report of
Waste Discharge at least 120 days prior to discharging wastewater.
If you have any questions on this information, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
TIMOTHY R.
