Depth to groundwater will be measured in each well and water-
quality parameters(pH,conductivity, ORP, DO,and temperature)will also be monitored during purging.
These depths and field monitoring parameters will be logged onto water level and water quality logs
' (Attachment 1).The groundwater samples will be labeled, logged on chain-of-custody forms, and placed
in an ice-chilled cooler for transport to the laboratory for the same analysis required by WDR Order No.
' RS-2005-0024.
Investigation Derived Waste
' Investigation derived waste water and soil generated during this investigation will be disposed of on the
ground in the vicinity of the soil boring,as completed during previous monitoring well installations at
' the Musco facility.
Anticipated Project Schedule
' The anticipated schedule for the project is provided below:
• October 30, 2013:Submittal of Work Plan via email to the RWQCB.
' November 8,2013:Anticipated approval of Work Plan by RWQCB.
• November 13, 2013: Initiate drilling activities.
' • November 22, 2013:Anticipate drilling activities to be completed.
• November 25, 2013: Initiate well development activities.
• November 27,2013:Complete well development activities.
' • December 9, 2013: Initiate first groundwater monitoring and sampling event.
Please note that this schedule is dependent upon regulatory approval, contractor availability and
' weather conditions.Any changes to this anticipated schedule will be communicated to the RWQCB as
the project is implemented.
If you have any questions with regard to the procedures described in this work plan, please do not
hesitate to give me a call at(510)326-1473.
' Sincerely,
For Terraphase Engineering Inc.
Andrew Romolo, P.G.
