Work Plan Addendum to Install Compliance Groundwater Monitoring <br /> Wells Musco Family Olive Company Tracy California <br /> Notes: <br /> my=millivolts <br /> ORP=oxidation reduction potential <br /> A minimum of 48 hours following development,groundwater samples will be collected from the newly <br /> installed monitoring well MW-35R using sampling techniques currently used for the Musco facility <br /> groundwater monitoring program in support of WDR Order No. R5-2005-0024(as described in the <br /> associated groundwater monitoring reports). Prior to purging, depth to groundwater will be measured <br /> and recorded at each well and piezometer. During purging,water-quality parameters(pH,conductivity, <br /> ORP,and temperature)will be monitored and recorded. Groundwater samples will be collected in <br /> accordance with the anticipated requirements of the WDR forthe new surface impoundments(Musco <br /> will consult with the RWQCB regarding the chemical analysis required).The groundwater samples will be <br /> labeled, logged on chain-of-custody forms,and placed in an ice-chilled cooler fortransport to the <br /> laboratory for the analysis required by WDR Order No. 115-2005-0024. <br /> Investigation Derived Waste <br /> Investigation derived waste water and soil generated during this investigation will be disposed of on the <br /> ground in the vicinity of the soil boring,as completed during previous monitoring well installations at <br /> the Musco facility. Fractured casing generated during the well decommissioning activities will be <br /> segregated and disposed of at the Musco facility. <br /> Anticipated Proiect Schedule <br /> The anticipated schedule for the project is provided below: <br /> • May 8,2014:Submittal of Work Plan Addendum to RWQCB <br /> • May 15, 2014:Approval of Work Plan Addendum by RWQCB <br /> • May 19, 2014:Initiate drilling activities <br /> • May 30, 2014:Complete well development activities and collection of first water quality sample. <br /> Please note that this schedule is dependent upon regulatory approval,contractor availability and <br /> weather conditions.Any changes to this anticipated schedule will be communicated to the RWQCB as <br /> the project is implemented. <br /> If you have any questions with regard to the procedures described in this work plan, please do not <br /> hesitate to give me a call at(510)326-1473. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> For Terraphase Engineering Inc. <br /> Andrew Romolo,P.G.
