Satellite Accumulation Area <br /> Near Where <br /> -: Waste was <br /> Generated <br /> No More than 55 <br /> Gallons ( or 1 clt of i <br /> acutely hazardous ) <br /> s� Clearly Labeled <br /> LOA <br /> Figure 3. 2 Satellite Accumulation Area Requirements <br /> The satellite accumulation area is the location where waste hazardous waste <br /> is stored temporarily in a container, typically at or near the point where the <br /> waste is generated before it is moved to the central accumulation area . <br /> Satellite accumulation areas allow facilities to store up to 55 gallons of <br /> hazardous waste (or 1 quart of acute hazardous waste) . <br /> Grocery stores do not typically have satellite accumulation area on the store <br /> floor .
