Box 2009 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
1601 East Hazelton Ave. PERMIT/SERVICES
Stockton, CA 95201
Dear Mr. Lyon,
Please find enclosed a copy of the Groundwater Investigation Report
for the former Laura Scudder's Tracy facility, located at 100 W.
Valpico Road in Tracy, California.
The report provides a discussion of the investigation program and
the sample analytical results. As can be seen by reviewing this
report, only minor traces of toluene and xylene (total) were
detected in the initial groundwater sample. These concentrations
were not detected in the confirmation sample.
Based on the results of this and previous investigations at the
site, ROY F. WESTON, INC. (WESTON) on the behalf of both C&A
Navarra Ranch and Borden, Inc. is requesting the following:
1. Permission to dispose of the on-site containerized well
installation soil cuttings and purge and development waters.
These containers are to be emptied onto the open area immedi-
ately adjacent to the facilities southern perimeter fence
line.
2. A clean closure certificate be issued from your agency for the
underground storage tank area at the facility in compliance.
with our previous agreement and with the State Water Resources
Control Board's Underground Storage Tank Pilot Program.
If you have any questions regarding this report or need to discuss
our requests, please do not hesitate to call me. I would personal-
ly like to thank you and your staff for the assistance provided in
resolving this issue and I look forward to working with you again
in the future.
Sincerely,
ROY F.
