The well was located five feet northwest of a soil boring which was drilled, logged and sampled on January 24, 1990 and discussed in detail in WESTON's "Soil Remediation Proposal" dated January 31, 1 to the wells close proximity to the soil boring980. After the center rods were removed, the total depth was measured again and found to be 5a.5 feet, a loss of one half foot due to heaving sands. When the PVC screen and casing was installed, the sand had M lowered back to 59 feet. The well was constructed using four inch diameter, schedule 40 PVC pipe. The screen was 15 feet lon `flush threaded, three five-foot sections) and composed of factory slotted, four inch diameter, flush threaded schedule 40 PVC pipe. Slot size was 0.020 inch.
