Chase Chevrolet -3- February 3, 2011 <br /> Claim No. 8294 <br /> Remediation Summary <br /> • Free Product: MW-3, up to 1.92 feet, none since 1996 <br /> • Soil Excavation: Approximately 715 cubic yards of contaminated soil was excavated, <br /> 40,000 gallons of groundwater were extracted and 500 pounds of ORC were backfilled <br /> into the excavation in 2004. <br /> • In-Situ Soil Remediation: Soil vapor extraction was conducted Nov 99 through Feb 01. <br /> • Groundwater Remediation: Air sparging was conducted Nov 99 through Feb 01. Ozone <br /> Sparging, conducted Jun 03 through present. <br /> General Site Conditions <br /> • Geology and Hydrogeology: The Site is underlain by interbedded and intermixed sand, <br /> silt and clay. There are no water supply wells or surface water receptors present within <br /> 2,000 feet of the Site. <br /> Recommendation <br /> January 2011, by letter in 31 August 2008, the San Joaquin County LOP directed the <br /> Responsible Party to reinstall monitoring wells destroyed during a redevelopment project, report <br /> due by 3 October 2008.
