23 July 2001 <br /> • AGE-NC Protect No 95-0143 <br />' Page 4 of 4 <br />' • Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in six of the twelve ground water monitoring wells <br /> sampled at concentrations ranging from 390 µg/1 (MW-6) to 160,000 µg11 (MW-3) TBA <br /> was detected in the sample collected from MW 24 at a concentration of 100 µ9h <br />' Historically, only low concentrations (c7 µg/1) of fuel oxygenating compounds have been <br /> detected at the site since monitoring these compounds began rn August 1997 MTBE was not <br /> detected in ground water samples collected during the May 2001 monitoring event <br />' 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based upon data collected during the May 2001 and previous sampling events, AGE recommends <br />' • Continued quarterly momtormg of the ground water monitoring well system on the site The <br /> next quarterly monitoring should be performed In August 2001, concurrent with monitoring <br />' at the Madison site <br /> • Performing the 24-hour aquifer pumping test described in Remedial Action Work Plan <br /> 10 <br /> Addendum -November 2000, dated 27 November 2000, prepared by AGE <br />' 6.0.
