The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for CALIFORNIA CONCENTRATE CO as of May28, 2020. <br />Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br />Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number, <br />OBSERVATION This business does not have an active hazardous waste ID number in the California Department <br />of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) database. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br />transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Identification <br />(ID) Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br />month, less than 1 kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br />numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ <br />to reactivate your ID number. Immediately reactivate your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br />[7Timis violation was corrected <br />Supporting documents included <br />114his violation will be corrected by (date): (9' <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Dr., 'r <:�-d-OA e- i C) 40,- ANITC)I <br />J U\0 Yw i +A e er. - or <br />xv\- Tw sC_ <br />Violation #110 - Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br />OBSERVATION The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br />years including used refrigerant oil from the servicing of the compressor performed by Sylvester's Construction <br />Mechanical Engineering Co., used oil, and used hydraulic oil. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br />with section 66262.23(a) for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br />which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br />waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years February 25, 2017 - February <br />25, 2020 for all hazardous waste including used refrigerant oil, used oil, and used hydraulic oil.
