The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for CALIFORNIA CONCENTRATE CO as of May28, 2020. <br />Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br />❑ This violation was corrected Erfhis violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #301 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION Observed oily liquid on the floor immediately adjacent to the secondary containment platform in <br />the hazardous materials storage area that was not cleaned up. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non -sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the oily liquid. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code <br />of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br />111 Tonhis violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included t <br />Describe actions taken or will betaken to correct violation: .) 1penyyA- w4xA-,c w t Cn k <br />Violation #303 - Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />OBSERVATION In the hazardous materials storage area, observed oily liquid inside the secondary containment <br />platform. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br />its proper operation in time of emergency. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the secondary containment platform into proper working order by cleanup, repair, <br />replacement or testing. Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department within 30 days. <br />Page 3 of 7 <br />
