The laboratory noted
that this concentration was in the late diesel range and did not resemble a
diesel standard. No TPH-G, BTEX, fuel oxygenates or alcohols were
detected any of the samples analyzed.
5 . 0 ANALYTICAL RESULTS FOR GROUNDWATER
The groundwater samples were analyzed by Chromalab for TPH-G by EPA
Method 5030/8015M, TPH-D by EPA Method 3510/8015M, BTEX by EPA
Method 8020, fuel oxygenates by EPA Method 8260 and methanol a n d
ethanol by EPA Method 8015M direct injection. The analytical results are
tabulated in Tables Three and Four, and the certified analytical report a n d
chain of custody forms are included in Appendix C.
TABLE THREE
Summary of Chemical Analysis of GROUNDWATER Samples
TPH-G, TPH-D and BTEX
All results are in parts per billion
TPH TPH Ethyl Total
Boring Gasoline Diesel Benzene Toluene Benzene Xylenes
------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------
BH-A <50 <50 <0.5 <0.5 <0.5 <0.5
Notes:
Non-detectable concentrations are noted by the less than symbol (<) followed by the
detection limit.
' Hanson Property Report - August 1998
-4-
