Set up CSE, removed and replaced 89 turbine motor and capacitor. Connected mechanical leak detector tester, powered up and got line pressure 25psi, dispensing at 24psi. Ran mechanical leak detector, test passed. Filled out monitor cert forms. Flow rates ranging from 6. 3gpm to 6. 6gpm on Plus grade, top end with 3/4hp motor. Returned 89 grade to full service, continued to monitor while on site, no further issue. Job is complete, permits required, needs to be closed after 01260N removed(not needed) and permit inquiry complete. - Mar 5 2020 5: 17PM - SMCMAHAN - LEAK DETECTOR WAS STUCK CLOSED - REASON FOR REPLACEMENT. TURBINE AS IS MEASUREMENTS - 121 1/8" TURBINE RISER - 126" PLACED PAPER OVER THE PLUS PRICE ON STREET SIGN PER STATION MANAGER TONYA. - Mar 5 2020 5:01 PM - SMCMAHAN -- TECH THAT TESTS THE LEAK DETECTOR WILL NEED TO FILL OUT A MONITOR CERTIFICATION FORM AND ATTACH IT TO THE JOB. - DID NOT FILL ONE OUT BECAUSE WE WERE UNABLE TO TEST THE NEW LEAK DETECTOR. -- Mar 5 2020 4:53PM - SMCMAHAN -- ARRIVED ON SITE, CHECKED IN WITH SITE PERSONNEL, AND SET UP SAFE WORK AREA, TRIED RUNNING LEAK DETECTOR TEST FIRST - LINE PRESSURE STILL AT 10 PSI - UNABLE TO RUN A LEAK DETECTOR TEST WITH THE PSI THAT LOW. SET UP CONFINED SPACE AND LOTO AND REPLACED LD2000 LEAK DETECTOR, PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER AND TRIED TO RUN LEAK DETECTOR TEST AGAIN - PRESSURE STILL NOT COMING UP FROM 10 PSI. LOTO AGAIN, CALLED BRIAN PLUMMER AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO REMOVE THE LEAK DETECTOR AND PUT A CAP IN PLACE OF THE LEAK DETECTOR TO ISOLATE THE TURBINE. STILL NO CHANGE IN LINE PRESSURE. LOTO AGAIN AND PULLED TURBINE BACK OUT, WHILE TRYING TO REPLACE THE TURBINE, FOUND 3/4 HP TURBINE AND THE 1. 5 HP TURBINE WE BROUGHT IS 3" LONGER THAN THE EXISTING TURBINE. TRIED TO SHORTEN THE EXTRACTABLE BUT WAS UNABLE TO DO SO BECAUSE THE EXTRACTABLE WAS ALREADY BOTTOMED OUT. CALLED CHRIS MCKENNA AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO PUT THE TURBINE BACK TOGETHER AND LEAVE THE 89 GRADE DOWN - OKAYD BY MARK ABLE. - Mar 4 2020 1:48PM - HGUSTIN -- On arrival, D3 89 flowrates 3gpm, 87 at 7. 3gpm 91 at 7.4gpm. Spotchecked all other dispensers, all 89 slow. LOTO and replaced 89 filter on D3, no change, installed line pressure gauge and found pressure at 10psi, mech leak detector not opening. Drained pressure and reset, no change, staying at 10psi. Checked all UDCs and 89 sump for leaks, all dry. Updated Chris M, will need to return to replace and test Plus grade mechanical leak detector.
