Pine Street, Lodi
USE: Temporary storage of grape vines.
CONDITIONS:
The Health District inspection of the site was conducted with Kenneth Hanscon,
Associate Public Health Biologist, Vector Surveillance and Control Board, State
Department of Health Services on December 14, 1986.
The followinq observations were made at the time of our inspection.
1. No rodent infestation was observed at the time of the inspection.
2. There was an ample food supply in adjacent fields which could support
a rodent infestation.
3. The grape vine storage area itself could serve as a potential rodent
habitant.
4. The area was beinq used as an illegal dump for residential and commercial
' garbage, trash and immobile vehicles.
If this project is approved the following conditions must be considered.
1. No dumping of garbage, trash or storage of immobile vehicles be permitted.
2. It is recommended that the property be secured to prevent illegal dumping of
garbaqe and trash.
3. Grape vine storage sites must be rotated at least every six months to facilitate
vector control .
4. Employ the services of a pest control company to manage the vector potential at
this site. (A vector control plan has been prepared for the applicant by
Paramont Pest Control Service) .
Joqi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
District Health Officer
/ t
o L.
