Reference is made to our geotechnical report for the proposed LDS Manteca
Chapel dated November 2, 1988, file No. 20-3121-02.
The percolation tests were set up on :March 7, 1989 by a representative of our firm.
The test holes were excavated to a depth of 3-1/2 feet. Approximately six inches of
clean sand was placed in the test holes to avoid disturbance of the soil when water
was poured into the hole. The test holes were then filled with relatively clean water
and left to soak over night. On .March 8, 1989, a representative of our firm returned
to the site to perform the percolation tests. The percolation tests were performed
according to standard procedures accepted by San Joaquin County.
.r
The tests were both measured to have a percolation rate of 10 minutes per inch. This
was based on a water drop of 1 inch every 10 minutes during the last 30 minutes of!
the percolation tests.
KLEINFELDER 2825 East :Myrtle Street, Stockton, CA 95205 (209) 948-1345
