SITE NEAR MANTECA, CALIFORNIA.
Dear Mr. Cote:
This letter is to inform you of the results of percolation tests at
the proposed Terra Genesis, Inc. site located near Manteca, California.
Three (3) percolation tests were conducted during the period of July
7-8, 1988. The tests were run as per San Joaquin County Public Works
standard procedures. The holes were located in different areas
surrounding the existing soil treatment pad. The slowest percolation
rate recorded was 2.0 inches/hour. This hole was located on the west
side of the access road that leads to the treatment pad. The other
two (2) test hole rates were 2.5 inches/hour and 8 inches/hour.
I have also enclosed a revised copy of the drainage calculations per
San Joaquin County drainage criteria and a revised site plan that reflects
the county's comments at the meeting held on July 5, 1988.
If you have any questions, please call me or Doug Ries at (916) 920-3518.
Sincerely,
L.A.
