Main Street <br /> Stockton CA 95205-6232 <br /> Subject: Hazardous Waste Inspection of November 21,2017 <br /> Dear Stacy, <br /> Regarding your notice of violation the following steps have been taken. <br /> #102 <br /> -Oily absorbent: All oily absorbent waste will be placed in a properly labeled <br /> and closed drum located in the haz waste "W] accumulation area. <br /> -Metal fines- All metal fines 100 microns or smaller are presumed to be <br /> hazardous waste and will be accumulated, labeled, stored and disposed of <br /> accordingly. <br /> -Compressor Floor- Liquid presumed to be oily residue was cleaned and oily <br /> absorbent placed in properly labeled HW oily absorbent drum. The oil drip <br /> container was removed and oil drained into used oil HW drum. If drip <br /> container is needed in the future it will be labeled and emptied at end of shift. <br /> - 5 gallon buckets- Three buckets are new Hydraulic oil and have been <br /> placed with other new oils on the containment pallet. Remainder of the <br /> buckets are asphalt sealer that we no longer use. Arrangements have been <br /> made with American Valley for their proper disposal. <br /> -30 gallon used absorbent drum- The drum was found to be empty except <br /> for the oil contaminated absorbing pads on top of the screen. Those pads <br /> have been placed in the HW labeled oily absorbent drum. <br /> #106 Training has been performed with the maintenance and boiler department <br /> employees responsible for handling hazardous waste. Documentation <br /> attached. <br /> #113 Contracted forklift maintenance records were reviewed and while they note <br /> and charge for "hazardous Waste Disposal" they do not specify the volume. <br /> Have spoken with our vendor companies and will ensure proper records are <br /> obtained and kept. <br />
