The purpose of the inspection was to <br /> verify compliance with applicable state and federal hazardous <br /> waste control laws. <br /> The inspection revealed two violations of the California <br /> Code of Regulations (Cal. Code Reqs. ) , Division 4. 5, Title 22 . <br /> The specific violations found are listed below: <br /> VIOLATIONS: <br /> 1. Title 22, Cal. Code Regs. , Section 66265. 191 (a) : <br /> On or about April 6, 1994, NAVCOMM violated Title 22 , Cal. <br /> Code Regs. , Section 66265. 191(x) in that NAVCOMM failed to <br /> determine whether tank is leaking or unfit and keep written <br /> integrity assessment certified by registered professional <br /> engineer for tanks without secondary containment, to wit: <br /> According to the facility environmental manager, NAVCOMM has <br /> never integrity tested the waste oil tank located at <br /> Building 508 . Additionally, the waste solvent tank in <br /> building 707 had not been integrity tested as requested <br /> during the 1993 inspection and as noted in the resulting <br /> Report of Violation. <br /> 2• Title 22, Cal Code Regs. , Section 66270.30 (a) : <br /> On or about April 4, 1994, NAVCOMM violated Title 22 , Cal. <br /> Code Regs. , Section 66270. 30 (a) in that NAVCOMM failed to <br /> comply with the following conditions of the Operation Plan <br /> (Part B Application) , to wit: Underground storage tank at <br /> Building 707 has never been integrity tested. Pursuant to <br /> the approved operation plan, the underground tank storing <br /> hazardous waste was to be integrity tested annually. This <br /> violation was noted in the previous inspection. <br />
