C. The date(s) analyses were performed; <br /> d. The individual(s) who performed the analyses; <br /> e. The analytical techniques or methods used; and <br /> f. The results of such analyses. <br /> I. Security <br /> 1. The owner or operator shall prevent the entry of <br /> unauthorized persons or livestock onto the active portion <br /> of the facility by maintaining the following: <br /> a. A fence in good condition or other artificial or <br /> natural barrier which completely surrounds the <br /> facility and has gates or other means to control <br /> entry; <br /> b. A 24-hour surveillance system which continuously <br /> monitors and controls entry to the facility; or <br /> c. As described in the Operation Plan. <br /> 2. Signs indicating that the facility, or the hazardous waste <br /> area of the facility, contains hazardous waste shall be <br /> placed on the perimeter fence at the entrance and at <br /> locations where it is anticipated that unauthorized persons <br /> may enter the active portion of the facility. <br /> Wording of the signs shall be in English, "Caution -- <br /> Hazardous Waste Area -- Unauthorized Persons Keep Out", and <br /> Spanish, "Cuidado! Zona de Residuous Peligrosos., Prohibida <br /> la Entrada a Personas No Authorizadas". Signs will be <br /> legible from a distance of 25 feet. <br /> J. Inspections <br /> 1. The owner or operator shall inspect the facility for <br /> malfunctions and deterioration, operator errors, and <br /> discharges which may cause or may lead to the release of <br /> hazardous waste constituents to the environment or a threat <br /> to human health. The owner or operator shall conduct these <br /> inspections often enough to identify problems in time to <br /> correct them before they harm human health or the <br /> environment. <br /> 2. The owner or operator shall inspect all monitoring <br /> equipment, safety and emergency equipment, security <br /> devices, and operating and structural equipment (such as <br /> berms) that are important to preventing, detecting, or <br /> responding to the environmental or human health hazards in <br /> accordance with the written inspection schedule in the <br /> approved Operation Plan. <br /> -13- <br />
