El <br />As an outside contractor, you are required to comply with the following safety guidelines in <br />order to conduct business with Martin -Brower Company. In addition, you are required to <br />comply with the applicable provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations as determined by <br />the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. <br />1) You will meet with the appropriate Hazardous Chemical Safety Program Coordinator <br />prior to your contract work to discuss our safety guidelines. <br />2) If you introduce hazardous materials on-site any time during the contracting process, <br />you will provide Martin -Brower Company with documentation of chemical safety training <br />for your personnel and copies of all applicable Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). <br />3) All chemical/hazardous material containers brought on-site during the contracting <br />process are to be appropriately labeled and in compliance with the OSHA Hazard <br />Communication regulation, 29 CFR 1910.1200. Furthermore, for all <br />chemicals/hazardous materials you bring on-site during the contacting process, you are <br />responsible for all containment and cleanup of said chemicals/hazardous materials in <br />the event of a spill. <br />4) Prior to commencing any activities, you will notify Martin -Brower Company in writing if <br />any chemicals/hazardous materials brought on-site, or activities conducted during the <br />contracting process, pose a potential health hazard to our employees and recommend <br />appropriate control measures. <br />5) You will maintain all tools, ladders, lift trucks, welding equipment, etc. in safe working <br />condition, and they will be kept in a secured location, or removed from the premises, <br />when not in use. <br />6) You are required to provide and use all necessary personal protective equipment, for <br />your personnel, as it pertains to your industry and the task activity. <br />7) You are required to know, understand and comply with the National Electrical Code <br />when engaged in activities related to electrical installation or repair. <br />8) When engaged in any activity relating to electrical or mechanical installation, <br />troubleshooting or repair, you are required to inform Martin -Brower Company employees <br />how your "Hazardous Energy Control Program (Lockout/Tagout)" process works and <br />how it interfaces with Martin -Brower Company's existing Hazardous Energy Control <br />Program. <br />9) You are required to comply with all provisions of the Environmental Protection Agency <br />and the Resource and Recovery Act of 1967 as they pertain to the use and disposal of <br />any identified or suspected hazardous material, chemical or solvent.
