The Department <br />hereby notifies you that your operation is not regulated as <br />a treatment, storage or disposal facility under the State <br />law and regulations since a permit or variance is only <br />required for storage periods greater than 90 days. <br />Therefore, your.site is exempt from the Hazardous Waste <br />Facility Permit requirements of the California Department of <br />Health Services. <br />Please be advised that your operation will still be a <br />producer of hazardous waste and as such has the <br />responsibility of handling those wastes properly (e.g., use <br />of the manifest, use of registered hazardous waste hauler, <br />etc.).
