These restraints, together with the building wall are adequate to <br /> resist design earthquake forces calculated In accordance with the California Building Code.See <br /> calculations in Appendix E.Note that friction has not been included in the calculation of <br /> resistance to base shear force. The tank is not located in a saturated zone. <br /> (a)(5)(C)tank systems will withstand the effects of frost heave: Not applicable—the tank is at a <br /> low elevation in southern California.
