Chapter Safety <br />Title Screen 15. <br />Page Title Service Center Safety Tips <br />Image <br />Spill Kit <br />Content Block. <br />Service Center Safety involves the movement & use of vehicle maintenance equipment and the storage of <br />waste materials. Be sure to follow these guidelines: <br />• Use proper protective equipment including safety glass, chemical resistant gloves, steel -toed shoes, and <br />back belts <br />• Maintain housekeeping on a daily basis <br />• If a spill occurs, make sure you know the chemical you're dealing with before you try to clean it up. If <br />necessary, get an MSDS of the chemical and use the proper protective equipment. <br />• Utilize the contents of the spill kit. These items include chemical resistant gloves, safety glasses, booms, <br />absorbent, and acid -neutralizer. <br />Activity <br />(Flash Zoom) <br />Once you've used the contents of the spill kit, call the Environmental.
