AML <br /> t <br /> (f) Emergency Procedures <br /> (1) Whenever there is an imminent or actual emergency situa- <br /> tion, the emergency coordinator (or his designee when <br /> the emergency coordinator is on call) shall follow the <br /> procedures of the contingency plan as described in the <br /> approved Operation Plan. <br /> (2) The owner or operator shall notify the Department and <br /> local authorities that the cleanup procedures are complete <br /> and all emergency equipment listed in the contingency <br /> plan is clean and fit for its intended use before opera- <br /> tions are resumed. <br /> (3) The owner or operator shall note in the operating record <br /> the time, date, and details of any incident that requires <br /> implementing the contingency plan. <br /> (4) The owner or operator shall report each incident to the <br /> Department in accordance with the 24-hour reporting <br /> requirement contained in Item 6 (k) , Part II, of this <br /> permit. <br /> 15. Closure <br /> (a) Closure Plan and Amendment of Plan <br /> (1) The owner or operator shall comply with the closure plan <br /> as described in the approved Operation Plan. <br /> (2) The owner or operator may amend his closure plan at any <br /> time during the active life of the facility. The owner <br /> or operator shall amend his plan any time changes in the <br /> operation or facility design affect the closure plan. <br /> (3) The owner or operator shall submit to the Department any <br /> proposed amendments to the closure plan for review and <br /> approval. <br /> (4) The owner or operator shall notify the Department at <br /> least 180 days before the date he expects to begin <br /> facility closure. <br /> (b) Time Allowed for Closure <br /> Within 90 days after receiving the final volume of hazardous <br /> wastes, the owner or operator shall remove all hazardous <br /> wastes in storage and treatment from the site in accordance <br /> with the approved closure plan. <br /> -16- <br />
