STATEMENT OF FACTS -2- <br /> McCormick and Baxter Creosoting Co. <br /> All conditions and terms of the permit are required under Part 264, Title <br /> 40, Code of Federal Regulations, and Division 20, California Health and <br /> Safety Code, Chapter 6.5, and Title 22, Chapter 30, California <br /> Administrative Code. <br /> The General Conditions, Section II, are standard conditions found in <br /> every permit and are based on requirements of the state OP guidelines. <br /> Specific Conditions, Section III, Item 1 describes prohibited wastes. <br /> Item 2 requires the owner to operate the facility in a manner which <br /> minimizes threats to human health and the environment. Item 3 provides <br /> requirements for the safe transfer of wastes. Items 4 through 8 provide <br /> requirements for night operations, wastes analyses, security, inspections <br /> and personnel training. Item 9 provides requirements for the safe treat- <br /> ment or storage of ignitable, reactive, or incompatible wastes. Items 10 <br /> through 12 provide requirements for equipment and maintenance of adequate <br /> aisle space. Items 13 through 16 provide requirements for coordination <br /> with local authorites, contingency planning, facility closure and <br /> financial responsibility. <br /> JP:mr <br /> 8/10/84 <br />
