Chase Chevrolet Waste Oil & Waste Antifreeze Tank Assessment (2010) <br />Visual Inspection: <br />Tank parameters at time of inspection (empty, etc.): In service, 30% full. <br />tAcute visual evidence of leaks: None. <br />Condition of interior surface: Good, corrosion free <br />Condition of exterior surface: Good, free from cracks, and corrosion. <br />tCondition of nozzles, flanges, fittings at tank: Good, evidence of cracks or <br />leaks <br />' Condition of piping: Good, No evidence of leaks, corrosion or damage. <br />Discrepancies: <br />0 <br />0 <br />1. The tank requires anchoring. <br />• The tanks are now anchored <br />2. Overfill protection is inoperative <br />• New overfill protection has been installed by Air & Lube. <br />3. Cannot read level gauges. A new site gauge has been installed on the <br />9 9 9 9 <br />waste oil tank. <br />• The level on the waste antifreeze tank can be visual <br />determined by opening the fill hatch. <br />4. Waste oil tank requires an emergency vent of 110,000 CFH or greater. <br />• The vent on the new tank is sufficient to vent the required <br />62,000 CFH for this tank. <br />5. Tank secondary containment requires inspection log or continuous <br />monitor. <br />• The inspection log is shown in Appendix. <br />Visual Inspection findings: A visual inspection of the tank and its affiliated <br />pumps, piping and ancillary equipment did not reveal signs of leaks, co r osion, <br />weld cracks or breaks, or scrapes in protective coating which may caus <br />release from the tank system. A description of all discrepancies noted ing the <br />visual inspection is included with this resort.
