As a result of the <br /> inspection, the following alleged violations of hazardous statues <br /> and regulations were observed. <br /> VIOLATIONS OBSERVED ON NOVEMBER 18 , 1993 : <br /> 1. California Health and Safety Code (CA H & S) , Division <br /> 20, Section 25189. 5: <br /> DPI failed to dispose of floor sweepings from metal <br /> sanding and burnishing operations as hazardous waste. <br /> This is a repeat violation from the October 10, 1992 <br /> inspection. <br /> 2 . CA H & S, Section 25250. 8: <br /> DPI failed to prepare a manifest for used oil prior to <br /> transfer. <br /> 3 . California Code of Regulations (CCR) Chapter 12 , Article <br /> 1, Title 22 , Section 66262 . 11: <br /> DPI failed to characterize their waste streams. This is <br /> a repeat violation from the October 8, 1992 inspection. <br /> 4 . CCR Title 22, Article 3 , Section 66262 . 34 (f) (1 - 3) : <br /> DPI failed to properly labe]Aophazardous waste containers <br /> at the point of waste oil generation (compressor area) . <br /> 5. CCR Title 22, Chapter 13 , Article 2, Section 66263.23 <br /> (b) : <br /> DPI delivered hazardous waste (waste oil) to an <br /> unauthorized facility. <br /> 6. CCR Title 22, Chapter 15, Article 2, Section 66265. 16 (a) <br /> (1) : <br /> DPI has not implemented a personnel training program that <br /> ensures the facilities compliance with training <br /> requirements of the hazardous waste regulations. Training <br /> violations were documented in the October 8, 1986 <br /> inspection. <br /> 7 . CCR Title 22 , Chapter 15, Article 15, Section 66265. 16 <br />
