7. Section 67106, (B) , Title 22, CCR. DPI is allowing waste <br /> cyanide and acids (hydrochloric and nitric) to drain into <br /> a common sump. <br /> SCHEDULE OF CORRECTIONS <br /> Violation #1 and Violation #2: <br /> Within 30 days of receipt of this report all drums containing <br /> hazardous waste shall be covered and labeled with the <br /> following information. <br /> (a) The accumulation start date. <br /> (b) The words "Hazardous Waste" . <br /> (c) The composition and physical state of the waste. <br /> (d) Statements which will call attention to the particular <br /> hazardous properties of the waste. <br /> (e) Your name and address. <br /> violation #3: <br /> Violation corrected. <br /> violation #4: <br /> Within 60 days of receipt of the report, DPI shall have an <br /> updated employee training program. <br /> violation #5: <br /> Immediately upon receipt of this report, all emergency exits <br /> shall be clearly labeled on site and a plot plan posted. <br /> Violation #6: <br /> Contact CAL-EPA-DTSC for information on permit or variance for <br /> solidification of sludge. <br /> Violation #7: <br /> According to a phone call on September 10, 1991 to Doug Baker, <br /> cyanide at the present time is separated from acids. <br /> Correction will be verified on the next hazardous waste <br /> inspection. <br />
