Stanislaus Street _ <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> Dear Mr. Baker, <br /> NOTICE OF VIOLATION AND SCHEDULE FOR COMPLIANCE, Delta Plating Co. <br /> On 8 October 1986, the Department of Health Services (DHS) conducted <br /> an inspection of Delta Plating located at 818 S. Stanislaus in <br /> Stockton, California. <br /> As a result of that inspection, violations of hazardous waste statutes <br /> and regulations were identified. <br /> Specific violations and required corrective action are listed below. <br /> Failure to correct the identified violations within the schedule <br /> provided will result in DHS citing you for continuing/additional <br /> violations. <br /> I. Schedule of Violations <br /> 1. Section 66508 (c) , Title 22 California Administrative Code <br /> A label shall be maintained on all nonstationary containers <br /> in which hazardous wastes are stored. Labels shall include <br /> the following information: <br /> (':) composition and physical state of the waste. <br /> (2) Statement of statements which call attention to the <br /> particular hazardous properties of the waste (e.g., <br /> flammable, reactive, etc.) <br /> (3) Name and address of the person producing the waste. <br /> Delta Plating is storing hazardous wastes in containers without <br /> labels. <br /> 2. Section 66493 , Title 22 California Administrative Code <br /> (a) a generator who ships his hazardous waste off site <br /> shall prepare and submit a single copy of a Biennial Report <br /> to the Department by March 1 of each even numbered year. <br /> The Biennial Report shall be submitted on Department forms <br /> and shall cover generator activities during the previous <br /> calendar year, and shall include the following information: <br />
