00
AW
CITY OF STOCKTON
2500 NAVY DRIVE
STOCKTON,CA 95206
DEPARTMENT Or MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
TELEPHONE 466-5261
January 27 , 1984
Delta Plating
818 South Stanislaus
Stockton CA 95206
Attention: George Baker
„ 1983 PRETREATMENT PROGRAM STATUS
Attached is a report showing the 1983 trace analyses conducted
by the Municipal Utilities Department Laboratory for Delta
Plating. Numbers highlighted are excursions from the applicable
EPA limitations that will become effective April 27 , 1984.
Delta Plating must be in compliance with all applicable EPA
standards by April 27, 1984 and these standards must be
consistently met after that date. The City of Stockton has
an approved pretreatment program and will monitor, sample and
enforce to insure compliance.
The State of California will continue to cover the sampling
costs until the deadline under a pretreatment development
grant. After the deadline , by law, the City must charge
a fee for all laboratory analyses conducted. EPA guidelines
mandate that pretreatment laboratory costs cannot be subsidized
by other segments of sewage users .' A schedule of the City' s
laboratory costs detailing specific tests and correlative
costs will be forwarded to you when available.
Please note that non-compliance with standards will mean
more intensive City sampling and increased laboratory analyses
costs to you.
d rffi
