Contact with Regulatory Agencies <br />Overview All contact (including telephone conversations, receipt of complaints, and <br />any correspondence and visits with state, local or federal regulatory <br />agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency, state <br />environmental agencies, or local government representatives) must be <br />reported immediately via the Regulatory Link Audit in RADAR. <br />© CVS/pharmacy <br />Elm <br />Any notes, photographs, records and inspection reports must be faxed <br />within 24 hours to Wendy Brant, the CVS/pharmacy Corporate <br />Environmental Manager. Any documentation received at a later date from <br />the Inspector (either by mail or in person) must also be faxed to the <br />number below. <br />Wendy Brant, Corporate Environmental Manager <br />Fax: 401-216-0138 <br />Wendy.Brant@CVSCaremark.com <br />When an Inspector arrives at your store, remember the following that <br />applies to all Managers: <br />1) A colleague must take the Inspector to the Manager -in -Charge as <br />soon as the Inspector arrives at the store. <br />2) The manager should ask the Inspector for identification; feel free to <br />turn the Inspector away if he or she cannot provide adequate <br />identification. <br />3) Determine the purpose of the inspection and stick to that purpose. <br />4) Be courteous to the Inspector. Do not take any actions or make <br />remarks that may be construed by the Inspector as interference. <br />5) Do not leave the Inspector alone at anytime. <br />6) Escort the Inspector throughout his or her entire visit. <br />7) Take notes of any issues discussed; take matching photographs if the <br />Inspector takes any. <br />8) Make any "on the spot" corrections as appropriate. <br />9) Answer questions with specific facts, not opinions or guesses. If you <br />do not feel comfortable answering a question, let the Inspector know <br />you will follow up later with an answer. <br />10) Do not volunteer information beyond the scope of, or not related to, <br />the Inspector's questions. <br />11) If asked, and you are able, you may provide the inspector copies of <br />hazardous waste documents that are required to be maintained at <br />the store.
