Managing Hazardous Waste, Continued <br />Handling If you determine the waste item is non -hazardous, you should cross through <br />Previously the StrongPak label on the StrongPak bag with a permanent marker and <br />Bagged write "Non Hazardous" on the bag. Initial the changes on the StrongPak bag, <br />Leaking Items and throw the bagged item in the trash or dumpster. <br />(continued) <br />NOTE: Non -hazardous solid items (e.g. tennis balls, nail files, or hair <br />brushes) that have been incorrectly placed in the StrongPak container will be <br />removed by the StrongPak technician and the StrongPak self-sealing bag <br />may be re -used. This process is for non -hazardous solid items ONLY. <br />Spill Cleanup Store colleagues may not clean up a spill of hazardous material without <br />management supervision, unless they have completed this training. If there is <br />a small spill of a hazardous material, use the steps below to clean it up.
