BOX 5252
PLEASANTON, CA 94566
Dear Mr. Stately;
In reviewing the submitted application to remove three (3), underground
storage tanks located at 30350 S. Tracy Blvd., in the city of Tracy, the
following items were noted;
1. A Fire Department permit may be required prior to the removal of
the tanks. Should the local fire district not require a permit,
the county fire warden, 465-3380, may require a permit.
2. An Unauthorized Release Report was filed on I-11-90, for
contamination discovered during a previous tank removal.
3. Thirty (30) pounds of dry ice per one thousand (1,000) gallons.
4. Sampling must be conducted by a third party sampling firm.
5. There is a discrepancy in the manner in which the backfill will
take place. Clean fill and compacting or crushed rock?
6. The application states that the contracting company is family
owned and operated and does not have any employees who earn wages.
Is this correct?
Please attend to the above items inorder that I may complete the review of the
application. If you have any questions concerning this matter please contact
me at (209) 468-0335.
Sincerely;
Jerr Yos iok R fiS
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
