CALIFORNIA 95203.5000
San Joaquin Local Health District
Attn: Ms. Diane Hinson
P. 0. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Dear Ms. Hinson:
IN REPLY REFER TO.
6280
Ser 3/ 0678
2 1 MAR 1989
We are currently preparing a permit request for removal of underground storage
tanks at the Naval Communication Station in Stockton. Unfortunately, we have
discovered a potential problem that apparently needs to be resolved before the
request can be approved.
You have provided us a form that, if signed, would authorize ur 'laboratory to
release analytical results to you prior to our quality control program having
had a chance to assure the accuracy of the data. We can expedite the quality
control process to satisfy your need for timely information, and could provide
you the analytical results within 48 hours of our receiving them. We could also
authorize the laboratory to release the results directly to you after we have
performed the quality control checks required. However, we are not authorized
to release such information without performing a quality control check on the
analytical results.
Please process our attached permit request and advise us which of the above
alternatives you prefer. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any
questions on this matter. My contact is Ms. Rebecca O'Dell at 944-0294.
Sincerely,
gR. A. TH
Captain, U. S.
