REPRODUCED AT GOVERNMENT EXPENSE <br />� <br />SECTION 81010 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 GENERAL INTENTION: This is an indefinite quantity contract with the <br />declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to remove and dispose of <br />underground fuel tanks, aaaVoiataU piping, and contaminated soil. <br />1.2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The work includes furnishing all labor, material, <br />equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to empty, degas, excavate, <br />remove and dispose of underground storage tanks and associated piping, remove <br />and dispose of contaminated soil, and backfill the remaining cavities and <br />tcaocbma and finish the sites. The work iuuIudmu the performance of any <br />incidental related work. <br />1.3 LOCATION: The work shall be located at the Naval Communication Station <br />Stockton, Stockton, California and at Naval Radio Transmitting Facility, <br />Dixon, California as shown. The exact location will be indicated by the <br />Contracting Officer. <br />WUM <br />(a) This is an indefinite -quantity contract for the work specified in <br />Appendix "Aw° Schedule of Indefinite Quantities, and effective for u period <br />not to exceed 180 days from the date of award. The quantities of work <br />specified in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantities are estimates only and are <br />not purchased by this contract. <br />(b) Delivery or performance shall be made only as authorized by orders <br />issued in accordance with the Ordering clause. The Contractor shall furnish <br />to the Government, when and if ordered, the work specified in Appendix «A^ up <br />to and including a maximum of $180"000-00. The Government shall order a <br />minimum of $5°000.00. <br />(o) Except for any limitations on quantities in the Delivery -Order <br />Limitations clause or in Appendix vA"" there is no limit on the number of <br />orders that may be issued. The Government may issue orders requiring <br />delivery to multiple destinations or performance at multiple locations. <br />(d) Any order issued during the effective period of the contract and not <br />completed within that period shall be completed by the Contractor within the <br />time specified in the order.
